I'll do MORE in 2024.

You got it!  That's my theme for this year's AIDS/Lifecycle.  I need to do more because more and more people need the services of the beneficiaries of this ride, The San Francisco AIDS Foundation and The Los Angeles LGBT Center.

Costs have risen exponentially across the board when it comes to healthcare.  We are suffering shortages of Doctors and people have transitioned to jobs that may not have the best healthcare options.  So they rely on the services of these organizations.  I know several people who have been beneficiaries of services, and literally saved their lives because of it.

So, in honor of all of the clients of these organizations, I'll do more in 2024.

My goals for this ride season are, and if I don't declare it, it won't happen:

  1. Lose the remaining 20 lbs to get back to my ideal weight.  I've lost 30lbs for the 2023 ride (and have gained a small amount back) and so I'm going to keep this momentum going.
  2. Increase my hill climbing times from 4.0 MPH to 5.0 MPH.  Last year, I jumped from 2.3 MPH to 4.0 MPH simply because I trained better and harder than ever before.
  3. Raise $10,000 because if I don't do more in 2024 that what is it all for? (haha - get that rhyme?)
