Thank you for joining me in this cause! I’m excited to share my AIDS/LifeCycle journey with you.

I’ll be working throughout the year in support of the life-saving services offered by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

When I was in high school, I had the great privilege of volunteering at LifeLong AIDS Alliance in Seattle.  At the time, I spent every Wednesday after school providing home chore services to a man named Bill who was dying of AIDS related complications.  He tried every treatment available back in 1996.  He was a tireless advocate for health funding for those living with HIV/AIDS.  He was also quick to share his life story with those that would listen.  Bill passed away shortly after I went to college and remains an inspiration to me to this day with his advocacy and outspokenness.

As an adult, I have the amazing opportunity to volunteer both at Camp Starlight in Oregon and Camp Hollywood Heart, which provided a week of camp for children who are inflected with or impacted by HIV/AIDS.  The courage these kids have shown is truly inspiring.

Now I embark on a new journey with the AIDS/LifeCycle.  The services provided as a result of my fundraising efforts include counseling, HIV/STD screenings, linking youth experiencing homelessness and people living with HIV to housing, and so much more. By supporting this cause, you take a stand against stigma, helping to create a world where health justice is a reality for everyone.

Thank you for your support!
