This is MY YEAR.  Help me be the best person I can be.

My longtime bestie, Penny, and me, at the ALC Expo in SoCal.  Life is truly beautiful!Thank you for your support in helping me to raise the necessary funds to qualify to ride in the AIDS/Lifecycle 2023 to be held in June of 2023.

If you have followed me, you know that I've dedicated each year's ride to someone else.  Well, this year, I am dedicating this to myself.  

I'm not trying to be selfish, but 2022/2023 is a time where I am re-inventing myself.  So this is a ME year.  

This is 15lbs weight loss at the ALC Expo in SoCalEDIT:  So if you know me well, you know I can't be that selfish.  I recently learned that this year is the 40th year of the epidemic and more than 40 million people have died from HIV/AIDS.  40 FREAKIN MILLION.  I can't do this ride in just my honor - I just can't.  So while this is the year of me, I will be riding in honor of every single person who has died from HIV/AIDS.

I need your help in this journey.  Not only do I plan to drop some of the dad bod weight (lost 16lbs as of 02/13/2023 already, and more than 4% body fat, which is almost more important than weight loss), but I plan to ride in the most amazing of rides, down the coast of California, with up to 3000 other like-minded cyclists from all, literally, all walks of life.
